Increase of Perfect Orders through the Application of Mixed Methodologies in a Company in the Heavy Freight Transportation Sector
Resumen
The heavy freight transportation sector presents a growth projection of 12% per year, increasing the need to meet the demand satisfactorily generated by economic growth in Peru of other related sectors such as trade and logistics. The following article is based on freight forwarding service and the challenges it faces. Therefore, the study of the process carried out from the arrival of application to the dispatch of cargo was carried out, BPM, 5S and Route Planning were raised to improve the Perfect Order indicator that is currently at 76.10% due to mismanagement of information between staff and the lack of improvement planning in their processes. After the implementation of the pilot plan and the simulation in Arena, it was possible to show that the improvement of the proposed model raises the Perfect Order indicator to 95%.
