the purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of entrepreneurial leadership (El)on project success (ps) through the mediating roles of big data analytics (Bda), teamreflexivity (tr), team innovation culture (tic), and team entrepreneurial passion (tEp).using importance-performance map analysis (ipMa) and necessary condition analysis(nca), this study provides complementary insights beyond traditional partial leastsquares structural equation modeling (pls-sEM), highlighting the relevance of theseadvanced analytical techniques. data were collected from 422 it company executives inperu through a survey-based approach. analyses were conducted using smartpls 4.results show that El significantly and positively influences ps and is also a necessarycondition for achieving high ps levels, underlining its strategic role in project-basedorganizations. Moreover, Bda, tr, tic, and tEp mediate this relationship, reinforcing El’seffect on project outcomes. this study contributes to the literature by clarifying themechanisms through which El drives ps and emphasizing the importance of El init-driven contexts. the integration of ipMa and nca offers methodological innovation, enhancing the understanding of El’s role in project performance and setting thisresearch apart from previous studies.

We study the connection between financial conditions and economic uncertainty across five major Latin American countries: Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru. Using a Bayesian Threshold Vector Autoregression (BVAR) model with stochastic volatility, our findings reveal that sudden jumps in uncertainty tighten financial conditions, increasing the likelihood of financial distress when the country credit spread exceeds a threshold value. Additionally, we find that uncertainty shocks are recessionary, leading to lower domestic short-term interest rates and a depreciation of domestic currencies against the US dollar. Notably, these effects are more pronounced and persistent during periods of financial distress. Another important finding is the heterogeneity in countries' responses to uncertainty, which reflects significant cross-country differences in economic fundamentals and policy frameworks. Finally, our results suggest that, while uncertainty contributes modestly to overall business cycle volatility, it has a substantial impact on financial variables—a dynamic that becomes significantly amplified during episodes of financial distress.

<summary type="text">Pattern matching analysis: Overview of its rationale and application in qualitative research
Vargas Bianchi, Lizardo
As qualitative research progresses, a precise understanding of the specific techniques that are still underdeveloped in literature is key. This discursive article provides a comprehensive overview of pattern matching analysis, a method that compares theoretical patterns derived from existing theories with empirical data to assess the agreement between theory and observed phenomena. Given the lack of consensus on the procedure for conducting this technique, this review addresses the gap in the qualitative literature. The significance of pattern matching analysis is emphasized because of its capacity to bridge theory and data, allowing refinement or qualitative testing of the theory. This article reviews and highlights the approaches and procedures used for pattern matching. It proposes meaning overlap as a guiding criterion for discerning the congruence between theoretical and empirical patterns. This study presents pattern matching as a versatile and formal method, emphasizing its potential for testing and refining theories in deductive qualitative research.
