Abstract

El presente trabajo expone la problemática sucedida a inicios del 2017 por los notorios incrementos de pérdidas por hurtos de mercadería en una tienda, para lo cual se realiza un diagnóstico y con el uso de diversas herramientas como matrices de enfrentamiento se analizaron las causas principales que originaron la problemática expuesta, lográndose determinar que la causa principal es el deficiente sistema de videovigilancia CCTV análogo con sus continuas fallas y limitaciones por su antigüedad y sin contar con analíticas de gestión, y para darle solución se implementó un nuevo sistema de videovigilancia con tecnología IP en la tienda. La implementación de un Sistema de Video vigilancia IP con tecnología moderna está alineado con la política de la Alta Dirección de mejora tecnológica, ese proyecto permita realizar un mejor control y monitoreo de la operatividad y seguridad en la tienda, gracias a los avances y tecnologías que se encuentran en el mercado y así lograr cumplir con los objetivos trazados. Se analizarán los aspectos técnicos, sociales y económicos. La solución implementada fue exitosa y obtuvo resultados rápidamente ya que los indicadores de gestión que muestran las ratios de pérdidas por hurtos de mercadería mejoraron notoriamente en los periodos posteriores a la implementación de este proyecto, lográndose estimar un recupero de la inversión en menos de 2 años.

The implementation of an IP Video Surveillance System with modern technology is aligned with the policy of the Senior Management of technological improvement, this project allows better control and monitoring of the operation and security in the store, thanks to the advances and technologies that are in the market and thus achieve the objectives set. Technical, social and economic aspects will be analyzed. The implemented solution was successful and obtained results quickly, since the management indicators that show the loss ratios due to theft of merchandise improved markedly in the periods after the implementation of this project, being able to estimate a recovery of the investment in less than 2 years.
