Estudio de prefactibilidad para la instalación de una planta productora de un destilado a base de camote amarillo (Ipomoea batatas)

Abstract

El presente estudio preliminar tiene como finalidad evaluar la viabilidad de la instalación de una planta productora de un destilado a base de camote amarillo, ya que existe un mercado potencial de bebidas espirituosas en el Perú, liderado por el Pisco. La presentación del producto será en una botella transparente de vidrio de 750ml, con la etiqueta adhesiva en la parte delantera de la botella especificando la marca “Kumar”. El segmento de mercado al que está dirigido el producto comprende a pobladores de la provincia de Lima, de los niveles socioeconómicos A y B, y de edades entre los 25 y 55 años. La demanda interna aparente en el año 2024 tiene un total de 38 168 401 litros, en referencia al rubro de destilados. Analizando la segmentación geográfica, demográfica, socio-económica, el factor de corrección de la encuesta y la captura de mercado se acotó la demanda del proyecto a un total de 64 692 litros, equivalente a 86 257 botellas de 750 ml para la producción del último año. El producto se venderá con un precio de venta final al consumidor de 70 soles. La planta tendrá un área mínima de 922m2, contará con un personal de 19 personas y se localizará, en la provincia de Lima, en el distrito de Lurigancho-Chosica, con un tamaño y capacidad de planta de 121 807 y 113 001 botellas al año respectivamente. La inversión final será de S/. 2 320 963.18, S/. 928 385.27 serán del banco con un 40% del monto total y el 60% del capital social sería S/. 1 392 577.91. Se espera como resultado del proyecto un VAN económico de S/ 379,374.78 y una TIR económica del 22.87% mayor al costo de oportunidad de 17.65%. Así como una VAN y TIR financiera de S/ 1,117,717.73 y 42.34% respectivamente, considerando finalmente viable el proyecto. Finalmente, los indicadores sociales dieron como resultado S/. 8 775 620.84 de valor agregado, S/. 122 155.96 de densidad de capital y 4 004 botellas de productividad de mano de obra.

The purpose of this preliminary study is to evaluate the feasibility of installing a producing plant of spirit from sweet potato, since there exists a potential market for spirits in Peru, led by Pisco. The presentation of the product will be in a transparent glass bottle of 750 milliliters, with the adhesive label on the front of the bottle specifying the "Kumar" brand. The market is segmented towards the population of the province of Lima of socioeconomic levels A and B, and what are between 25 and 55 years old. The apparent domestic demand in the year 2024 has a total of 38 168 401 liters. Analyzing the geographical, demographic and socio-economic segmentation, the correction factor of the survey and the market capture shortened the project demand for a total of 64 692 liters, equivalent to 86 257 bottles of 750 ml for last year's production. The product will be sold with an initial retail price of 70 soles. From this, the plant will have a minimum area of 922m2, will have a staff of 19 people and will be located, in the province of Lima, in the district of Lurigancho-Chosica, with a plant size and capacity of 121 807 and 113 001 bottles per year respectively. The final investment will be S /. 2 320 963.18, S /. 928 385.27 will be from the bank with 40% of the total amount and 60% of the share capital would be S /. 1 392 577.91. It is expected as a result of the project an economic NPV of S/ 379,374.78 and an economic IRR of 22.87% higher than the opportunity cost is expected as a result of the project. As well as a financial NPV and IRR of S/ 1,117,717.73 and 42.34% respectively, finally considering the project as viable. Finally, social indicators such as S /. 8 775 620.84 value added, S /. 122 155.96 of capital density and 4,004 bottles of labor productivity.
