Propuesta de mejora del índice de productividad de la Empresa Fábrica de Alambres y Clavos MYL S.A.C. basado en la implantación de herramientas de lean manufacturing

Abstract

The general objective of this improvement proposal is to incrementar el índice de productividad of the company Fábrica de Alambres y Clavos Myl S.A.C. and for this it has six chapters which will be described below. In chapter I, we present a brief historical review of Myl S.A.C. We refer to the products they offer, the types of customers they have and the definition of the hipótesis del proyecto. In chapter II, the external and internal environment of the company was analyzed, thus determining the PEST matrix and the five forces of Porter in order to identify the opportunities and weaknesses that it possesses. In Chapter III, the flow of transformation of the raw material until it is finished product will be known in detail (trefilado, producción de clavos, pulido y encajado), what indicators the company uses to measure its productivity and the identification of the root cause of the problem of low productivity thanks to the use of diagrama Ishikawa. In chapter IV and V, with the use of Diagrama de Pareto, the main root causes will be identified to propose alternative solutions that, with engineering methods, will be selected the most profitable and will proceed to develop the engineering of the solution detailing the stages that should be perform to achieve the objectives specified in the previous points. In Chapter VII, it was finally determined that the project is economically viable as a VAN S /. 45,210.94 and a TIR 14.95% higher than the CAPM 12.72%.

El objetivo general de esta propuesta de mejora es incrementar el índice de productividad de la empresa Fábrica de Alambres y Clavos Myl S.A.C. y para ello cuenta con seis capítulos los cuales se describirán a continuación. En el capítulo I, se presenta una breve reseña histórica de Myl S.A.C. Hace referencia a los productos ofrecidos, tipos de clientes y la definición de la hipótesis del proyecto. En el capítulo II, se analizó el entorno externo e interno de la empresa determinando así la matriz PEST y las cinco fuerzas de Porter con la finalidad de identificar las oportunidades y debilidades que posee. En el capítulo III, se conocerá a detalle el flujo de transformación de la materia prima hasta ser producto terminado (trefilado, producción de clavos, pulido y encajado), qué indicadores utiliza la empresa para medir su productividad y la identificación de la causa raíz al problema de la baja productividad gracias al uso del diagrama Ishikawa. En el capítulo IV y V, con el uso del Diagrama de Pareto se identificarán las principales causas raíces para plantear alternativas solución que con métodos de ingeniería se seleccionará el más rentable y se procederá a desarrollar la ingeniería de la solución detallando las etapas que se deben realizar para lograr los objetivos especificados en los puntos anteriores. En el capítulo VII, se determinó finalmente que el proyecto es viable económicamente pues se obtuvo un VAN S/. 45.210,94 y un TIR 14,95 % mayor al CAPM 12,72 %.
