dc.description.abstractEl sector manufacturero es uno de los sectores más influyentes en la economía de un país, pues determina su actualidad y su crecimiento. Dentro de este, se encuentra la industria de alimentos y bebidas. Esta representa una gran parte del sector en el Perú, por lo que la finalidad de esta investigación será mejorar la eficiencia de una de las empresas del sector. Mediante las herramientas de Systematic Layout Planning y 5S, pertenecientes a la metodología de Lean Manufacturing, se plantearon medidas con el fin de lograr el objetivo. La primera consiste en generar propuestas de distribución de planta que permita optimizar tiempos y recortar recorridos. A través del software ARENA, esta herramienta pudo ser simulada, obteniendo resultados prometedores. En cuanto al 5S, este permitirá mantener áreas de trabajo organizadas, limpias y ordenadas, logrando mejorar el flujo de materiales y el ambiente laboral. Esta investigación logró incrementar la eficiencia de planta de la empresa, demostrando la utilidad de estas herramientas en el sector. De este modo, este paper servirá para futuras investigaciones de herramientas de Lean Manufacturing aplicadas en la industria de alimentos y bebidas.es_PE
dc.description.abstractThe manufacturing sector is one of the most influential sectors in a country's economy, as it determines its current status and growth. Within this, the food and beverage industry is one of the biggest ones, representing a large part of the sector in Peru. Hence, the purpose of this research will be to improve the efficiency of one company in the food and beverage industry. Through the tools of Systematic Layout Planning and 5S, belonging to the Lean Manufacturing methodology, measures were proposed in order to achieve the objective. The first consists of generating proposals for plant distribution that allow optimizing times and reducing distances. Through the ARENA software, this tool could be simulated, obtaining promising results. As for the 5S, this will allow to keep the work areas clean and organized, managing to improve the flow of materials and the work environment. This research succeeded to increase the efficiency of the company's plant, demonstrating the effectiveness of these tools. In this way, this paper will serve for future research on Lean Manufacturing tools applied in the food and beverage industry.en_EN
