Microbial degradation for the remediation of soils contaminated by crude oil in Peru: a systematic review of the literature
Abstract
In this research, a systematic literature review is carried out whose objective is to identify, compare
and analyze the main fundamentals to be considered in order to face the problematic of remediation of soils contaminated by crude oil in order to establish and achieve a high efficiency of this. This work was elaborated
through a comprehensive analysis of the various suitable scientific articles that provide a more comprehensive
basis in relation to what is discussed in this research, taking as a basis the results that were optimal in the
remediation of soils in terms of their various experiments made that were successful in the realization.
Therefore, finally, it is obtained that the various technologies used for the remediation of the contaminated soil should not be treated only at the laboratory level but also at the field level due to the fact that there is a great gap in the treatment of the soil due to the conditions and variables that change significantly, thus
reducing their remedial application in contaminated soil, presenting a minimal environmental impact and high
investment costs in large-scale projects.
