Caso de estudio: Instituto Nacional de Estadística e Informática (INEI)

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to get the degree of Bachelor of Administration; which is based on the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI), a state institution where I am currently working, so I will use my work experience in addition to theorical information acquired from different authors and academic information to finally be able to propose a reformulation of the strategy that has been carried out at the INEI. Regarding the entity, we can affirm that it is an autonomous entity that was created in 1990 and is the central and governing body of the National Statistical System; responsible for managing and supervising the country's official statistical activities to offer different types of studies, reports, ratings, etc. The principal activity of the INEI is to supply the state and all the organizations that need relevant information for their management and for decision-making in the public and private sectors so that in this way policies can be created with which to improve the quality of life of people in Perú. As mentioned previously, in this work an improvement proposal will be made to optimize the development of activities and add value to the company.

El presente trabajo tiene como función optar por el título de licenciado en Administración; el cual se encuentra basado en El Instituto Nacional de Estadística e Informática (INEI), institución del estado en la que me encuentro laborando actualmente por lo que utilizaré mi experiencia laboral sumada a información teórica adquirida de distintos autores e información académica para finalmente poder proponer una reformulación de la estrategia que se viene realizando en el INEI. Respecto a la entidad podemos afirmar que es una entidad autónoma que fue creada en el año 1990 y es el organismo central y rector del Sistema Estadístico Nacional; responsable de gestionar y supervisar las actividades estadísticas oficiales del país para ofrecer distintos tipos de estudios, informes, índices, etc. Su principal función es abastecer al estado y todos los organismos que lo componen y necesiten información relevante para su gestión y para la toma de decisiones del sector público y privado para que de esta manera se puedan crear políticas con las cuales mejorar la calidad de vida de los peruanos. Como se mencionó anteriormente en el presente trabajo se realizará una propuesta de mejora con el fin de optimizar el desarrollo de las actividades y aportar valor a la empresa.
