Propuesta metodológica para la gestión de la información durante la etapa de construcción del complejo de laboratorios alineada a la norma ISO 19650

Abstract

Los proyectos de Arquitectura, Ingeniería y Construcción (AEC, por las siglas en inglés de Architecture, Engineering and Construction) se caracterizan por tener abundante volumen de información a lo largo de todo el ciclo del proyecto; por ello, se buscan métodos, normativas y estándares para organizar e intercambiar información entre los diferentes involucrados. Para hacer frente a este reto, el presente trabajo de investigación propuso una metodología para la gestión de la información durante la etapa de construcción del Complejo de Laboratorios de la Carrera de Ingeniería Civil de la Universidad de Lima. Partiendo con la interpretación de la norma ISO 19650, partes I y II. Luego, con los datos proporcionados y el cuestionario realizado, se describió cómo se gestionó la información usada por las partes interesadas, y se identificó y diagramó el flujo de información que se dio durante la etapa de construcción del Complejo de Laboratorios CIC. Por último, se buscó comparar lo que propone la norma ISO 19650 en cinco etapas, y cómo se llevó a cabo la gestión de la información del proyecto. Posteriormente, se planteó un flujo de información del proyecto alineado a esta norma como parte de la propuesta metodológica. El presente caso de estudio corroboró que durante la etapa de construcción se generan solicitudes de información, y estas no son solucionadas, en consecuencia, generan costos adicionales, retrasos, retrabajos, errores, solicitudes de cambio, entre otros, si este no se alinea a la norma ISO 19650. Además, se identificó que existe una relación desde las etapas de planificación y adquisición a la etapa de producción de información, y si se pretende implementar esta norma ISO 19650, se empiece de dichas etapas para tener un proceso de gestión de la información fluido, eficiente y colaborativo.

Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) projects are characterized by having an abundant volume of information throughout the entire project cycle; For this reason, methods, regulations and standards are sought to organize and exchange information between the different parties involved. To face this challenge, this research work proposed a methodology for information management during the construction stage of the Laboratory Complex of the Civil Engineering Career of University of Lima. Starting with the interpretation of the ISO 19650 standard, parts I and II. Then, with the data provided and the questionnaire carried out, it was described how the information used by the interested parties was managed, and the generated flow of information was identified and diagrammed during the construction phase of the Laboratory Complex CIC. Finally, it was sought to compare what the ISO 19650 standard proposes in five stages, and how the information management of the project was carried out. Subsequently, an information flow of the project in line with this standard was proposed as part of the methodological proposal. This case study corroborated that during the construction stage requests for information are generated, and these are not solved, consequently, they generate additional costs, delays, rework, errors, change requests, among others, if this is not aligned to ISO 19650. In addition, it was identified that there is a relationship from the planning and acquisition stages to the information production stage, and if it is intended to implement this standard, one must start from said stages to have a fluid, efficient and collaborative information management process.
