La actualización de la política antártica para el cumplimiento del tratado antártico por parte del estado peruano en su rol de miembro consultivo

Abstract

En la presente tesis el autor analiza los aspectos concernientes a la Antártida en las relaciones internacionales; así como también el complejo sistema del Tratado Antártico que rige en el territorio y el estado de la traducción de obligaciones antárticas por parte del Estado Peruano. Además de esto, se enfatiza en la gobernanza y diseño de la Política Nacional Antártica Peruana para luego dar paso a las reformas legales que beneficiarían la capacidad de implementación y cumplimiento de obligaciones por parte del Perú hacia el Tratado Antártico. Posterior a ello hay una sección relativa a los hallazgos y recomendaciones del presente trabajo, para finalmente encontrar las conclusiones.

In this thesis the author analyzes the aspects concerning Antarctica in international relations; as well as the complex system of the Antarctic Treaty that governs the territory and the state of the translation of Antarctic obligations by the Peruvian State. In addition to this, emphasis is placed on the governance and design of the Peruvian National Antarctic Policy to then give way to the legal reforms that would benefit Peru´s ability to implement and comply with its obligation under the Antarctic Treaty. This is followed by a section on the findings and recommendations of this work, and finally the conclusions.
