Desafíos en el soporte tecnológico a un emprendimiento: el caso Qempo

Abstract

El profesional de la carrera de Ingeniería de Sistemas de la Universidad de Lima posee la capacidad para crear soluciones eficientes y eficaces basadas en tecnologías de información que resuelvan las necesidades del negocio en un mercado que constantemente está en evolución, aplicando los principios de ingeniería, análisis crítico y habilidades de cómputo. En este sentido, me inicié en la empresa Qempo como desarrollador y tuve la oportunidad de participar desde los inicios en el desarrollo de un producto de software que soportaba el modelo de negocio. Posteriormente, en el rol de líder técnico tuve que velar para que la infraestructura y organización del equipo pudieran crecer conforme crecía el negocio aplicando conocimientos previos y adquiriendo nuevos mediante la mejora continua y el constante aprendizaje. Finalmente, en la posición de CTO las responsabilidades se orientaron hacia la gestión de una arquitectura escalable, así como a la planificación de la estrategia y visión del equipo tecnológico. En el futuro existirán muchos más retos en Qempo, por lo que como profesional de la Universidad de Lima estaré preparado para afrontar los desafíos de manejo de proyectos cada vez más ambiciosos.

The professional of the Systems Engineering career at the University of Lima has the ability to create efficient and effective solutions based on information technologies that solve the business needs in a market that is constantly evolving, applying the principles of engineering, critical analysis and computational skills. In this sense, I started in Qempo as a developer and had the opportunity to be part of the creation of a software product that supported the business model from the beginning. In my role as technical leader, I had to ensure that the infrastructure and organization of the team could grow as the business grew, applying knowledge acquired through continuous improvement and constant learning. Subsequently, in my position as CTO, my responsibilities were oriented to the management of a scalable architecture as well as the management of the strategy and vision of the technology team. In the future there will be many more challenges in Qempo, so as a professional at the University of Lima I will be prepared to face the challenges of managing bigger projects.
