Abstract

Desde tiempos antiguos, la luz natural y sus efectos han cumplido un rol muy importante en la arquitectura que al día de hoy se utilizan para generar distintas sensaciones al usuario, así como para reconocer espacios ‘‘valiosos’’ dentro de una edificación. Arquitectos reconocidos por su labor han utilizado la luz natural como un elemento primordial en la mayoría de sus proyectos, entre ellos: Louis Khan, arquitecto referente para el proyecto. Es así como, la luz natural despierta un gran interés y se vuelve la protagonista en la propuesta. De esta manera, el tema de investigación pretende explorar la espacialidad que se genera al interior de un edificio a través de la luz natural, pero también cómo esta puede manipularse de manera teatral para producir dramatismo en el espacio y creando diferente sensaciones en el usuario con las distintas maneras de introducir la luz. La información recolectada contribuirá al desarrollo de un proyecto arquitectónico en el distrito de La Molina, enfocado en explorar cómo la espacialidad, el ingreso de luz y los recorridos pueden generar experiencias que evocan la esencia de las artes escénicas. Por ello, el tema de esta investigación se centra en: Escuela de Artes Escénicas en La Molina.

Since ancient times, natural light and its effects have played a significant role in architecture, and to this day, they are used to create different sensations for users and to highlight "valuable" spaces within a building. Renowned architects have employed natural light as a fundamental element in most of their projects — among them, Louis Kahn, a key reference for this project. In this way, natural light becomes a central focus and protagonist of the design proposal. This research aims to explore the spatial qualities generated within a building through natural light, and also how it can be manipulated in a theatrical manner to produce drama in the space, creating different sensations for the user through various methods of introducing light. The collected information will contribute to the development of an architectural project located in the district of La Molina, focused on exploring how spatiality, light entry, and circulation can generate experiences that evoke the essence of the performing arts. Therefore, the core theme of this research is: Performing Arts School in La Molina.
