Retratos de un gol pendiente: ensayo fotográfico acerca de la realidad del fútbol de menores en la capital del Perú

Abstract

El presente proyecto busca visibilizar la realidad que se experimenta en el ámbito futbolístico en Perú a través de un ensayo fotográfico de carácter documental. La fotografía se utilizará como una herramienta para destacar la importancia del sueño futbolístico entre los jóvenes limeños. Esto se logrará mediante testimonios de cuatro personas que aspiran a convertirse en profesionales del fútbol. En este proyecto, se presentarán diversas historias de individuos que luchan por alcanzar su sueño de jugar al fútbol profesional, enfrentando diversas adversidades en el camino. Siempre manteniendo en mente su motivación y determinación para perseguir este sueño. La idea es capturar estas historias en color utilizando una cámara fotográfica que pueda capturar los momentos más significativos cuando estos jóvenes se encuentren en los espacios que deseamos resaltar. Estos ambientes abarcan desde el corazón de Lima hasta sus periferias, como San Miguel, Magdalena y Chorrillos. El propósito de este trabajo es transmitir la idea de que, a pesar de la falta de infraestructura, inversión económica, herramientas y condiciones adecuadas para la formación de los futbolistas peruanos con aspiraciones profesionales, su deseo de alcanzar el éxito en un país donde a menudo se presta escasa atención a la observación y educación de las categorías juveniles sigue siendo una constante.

The present project aims to shed light on the reality experienced in the football scene in Peru through a documentary-style photographic essay. Photography will be used as a tool to emphasize the significance of the football dream among young people in Lima. This will be achieved through the testimonies of four children who aspire to become professional footballers. In this project, various stories of individuals who strive to achieve their dream of playing professional football will be presented, despite facing various challenges along the way. Always keeping in mind their motivation and determination to pursue this dream. The idea is to capture these stories in color using a semi-professional camera that can capture the most significant moments when these young individuals are in the spaces we wish to highlight. These environments range from the heart of Lima to its outskirts, such as San Miguel, Magdalena, and Chorrillos. The purpose of this work is to convey the idea that, despite the lack of infrastructure, financial investment, tools, and suitable conditions for the training of Peruvian footballers with professional aspirations, their desire to achieve success in a country where there is often limited attention to the observation and education of youth categories remains a constant.
