Apropiaciones de discursos y cambio de comportamientos a partir del consumo de los contenidos de la influencer Danna Alquati sobre temas de salud mental y vínculos interpersonales

Abstract

La presente investigación analiza cómo los seguidores de la influencer Danna Alquati apropian sus discursos sobre salud mental y vínculos interpersonales, y cómo estos influyen en sus creencias y comportamientos. A través de entrevistas remotas a 16 jóvenes adultos latinoamericanos, se identificaron transformaciones en la percepción de vínculos románticos, temas de salud mental, mayor pensamiento crítico hacia películas y series juveniles que abarcan estos temas y, en general, un incremento en la búsqueda de bienestar emocional. Los participantes reportaron cambios concretos en el comportamiento, como culminar vínculos afectivos dañinos, buscar ayuda profesional y compartir los nuevos aprendizajes en sus entornos, especialmente aquellos que contradecían lo aprendido dentro de sus entornos sobre los temas mencionados. Estas apropiaciones se enmarcan en espacios de aprendizaje informal y cultura participativa (Jenkins, 2007), destacando el rol activo de los seguidores como difusores de ideas en sus respectivos entornos.

This research analyzes how followers of influencer Danna Alquati appropriate her discourse on mental health and interpersonal relationships, and how these influence their beliefs and behaviors. Through remote interviews with 16 young Latin American adults, transformations were identified in their perception of romantic relationships, mental health topics, increased critical thinking toward youth-oriented films and series that address these themes, and, overall, a greater pursuit of emotional well-being. Participants reported concrete behavioral changes, such as ending harmful emotional relationships, seeking professional help, and sharing new learnings within their environments—particularly those that contradicted what they had previously learned from their surroundings regarding these topics. These appropriations are framed within informal learning spaces and participatory culture (Jenkins, 2007), highlighting the active role of followers as disseminators of ideas in their respective contexts.
