Abstract
La evolución de las ciudades transformó el modelo de urbanización cerrada y permitió la integración de mayor cantidad de población, un hecho que se traduce en la privatización de alrededor del 20 % de la superficie urbanizada
municipal de Zapopan, en Guadalajara, México. Esto ha generado una serie de problemáticas de movilidad y segregación socioespacial que destacan la necesidad de realizar cambios en la normatividad urbana vigente para controlar su producción.
