La reconstrucción narrativa en el proceso de edición del cortometraje recóndito

Abstract

El presente informe tiene como objetivo reconocer al montaje como un recurso efectivo para la reconstrucción narrativa no únicamente como el proceso final de un proyecto audiovisual, percepción que mayormente la tienen alumnos recién ingresantes y no es hasta tiempo después, que son conscientes de las múltiples posibilidades que ofrece la edición. Por lo mismo, es a ellos a quienes va dirigido este trabajo profesional. Siguiendo dicha consigna, se reeditó el cortometraje Recóndito, agregándole valor a la historia al contarla de manera distinta. Se logró fomentar la incertidumbre y misterio a través de un montaje con constantes cambios abruptos de escena para posteriormente volver a la anterior escena y desarrollarse, teniendo alteraciones de tiempo y espacio. Con lo mencionado anteriormente se pretende demostrar que una edición puede ser también, en mayor o menor grado, una reescritura del guion, gracias a lo cual, si sabemos usar de forma lúdica los recursos que este ofrece, se pueden llegar a descubrir líneas argumentales, percepciones y emociones nuevas que anteriormente no se habían planteado, algo que no significa necesariamente que sea tarde para hacerlo. Con esto podemos concluir que la edición también tiene el potencial de ser parte del arte de la creación, y que no solo consiste en pegar un plano tras otro para formar coherentemente una escena ya planteada en un papel en preproducción.

The objective of this report is to recognize the montage as an effective resource for narrative reconstruction and not only as the final process of an audiovisual project, a perception that is mostly held by newly enrolled students and it is not until later that they are aware of the multiple possibilities that the edition offers. For the same reason, it is to them that this professional work is addressed. Following this slogan, the short film Recóndito was re editing, adding value to the story by telling it in a different way. Whit that, it was possible to promote uncertainty and mystery through a montage with constant abrupt scene changes to later return to the previous scene and develop, having alterations in time and space. The aforementioned is intended to demonstrate that an edition can also be, to a greater or lesser level, a rewriting of the script, thanks to which, if we know how to use the resources it offers in a playful way, can be discovered new arguments, perceptions and emotions that had not previously been raised, that does not necessarily mean that it is too late to do so. With this we can conclude that editing also has the potential to be part of the art of creation, and that it doesn't just consist of pasting one shot after another to coherently form a scene already laid out on paper in pre-production
