Abstract

En la década de 1980, el Perú atravesó una época de violencia. En medio del conflicto armado entre los grupos terroristas y el gobierno, a Gustavo, un mecánico limeño, lo contratan para reparar 100 camiones en Ayacucho, el epicentro de la lucha armada sin saber que eso cambiaría su vida y la de Maxi. Capitán Condor, es un relato de compasión y valentía que desafía el miedo en tiempos oscuros. Esta es la historia de un hombre y un niño, una historia de resiliencia, amor y pérdida, pero sobre todo de esperanza. Este informe repasa las fases de realización del cortometraje documental, desde la concepción de la idea y nuestro proceso creativo, hasta las instancias de postproducción.

In the 1980s, Peru went through a period of violence at the hands of terrorism. During the conflict between the armed groups and the government, Gustavo, a mechanic from Lima, is hired to repair 100 trucks in Ayacucho, the epicenter of the armed struggle. In Captain Condor, Gustavo manages to tell the story of his compassion, courage and loss after his encounter with Maxi, a boy who won his heart and with whom he defies fear to find hope in dark times. This is his story, full of resilience and unconditional love. The present work reviews the phases of making the short documentary, from the granting of the idea and the search for references, the decision of a specific vision and our creative process.
