Lugar de las tradiciones y costumbres centro andinas en el distrito de Ate

Abstract

El proyecto “Lugar de las tradiciones y costumbres centro andinas en el distrito de Ate” busca fortalecer la identidad cultural del distrito mediante un espacio público que integre tanto las tradiciones andinas como las expresiones urbanas actuales. Basado en los conceptos de lugar e identidad, el proyecto busca generar sentido de pertenencia a través de un espacio significativo. Aplica también la teoría del Urbanismo Unitario, utilizando el “vacío” como área libre para actividades culturales, mediante estructuras elevadas. Además, incorpora el concepto de espacio intermedio, promoviendo la interacción entre aprendizaje y arte vivo, y el “In Between” de Aldo Van Eyck como punto de integración social. Todo ello orientado a lograr una identidad colectiva y cohesión entre diversas culturas presentes en Ate.

The project “Place of Central Andean Traditions and Customs in the District of Ate” aims to strengthen the cultural identity of the district by creating a public space that integrates both Andean traditions and current urban expressions. Based on the concepts of place and identity, the project seeks to foster a sense of belonging through a meaningful space. It applies the theory of Unitary Urbanism, using the concept of “void” as an open area for cultural activities, achieved through elevated structures. Additionally, it incorporates the concept of intermediate space, promoting interaction between learning spaces (such as workshops and rehearsal rooms) and live art. The “In Between” concept by Aldo Van Eyck is also used to encourage social integration. Altogether, the project aims to build a collective identity and cultural cohesion within the diverse communities of Ate.
