Abstract

Una de las preocupaciones del mundo es el calentamiento global, que está relacionado con la contaminación ambiental. Cada año se vierten hasta 8 millones de toneladas en los océanos, por ello, si esta actividad continúa, para el año 2050 habrá más plásticos que peces en el océano y el 99% de aves marinas habrán ingerido algún tipo de plástico. Esta investigación sugiere reducir el impacto ambiental al extender la vida útil del plástico a través del reciclaje, ayudando así a conservar los recursos naturales. En los últimos años ha habido una creciente tendencia mundial hacia una sociedad libre de plástico. A nivel local, se están ampliando las pautas y hábitos de reciclaje. En este contexto, la empresa Ecowood nace con el fin de obtener una alternativa de solución para los excesivos residuos plásticos. Nuestra idea de negocio para muebles a base de madera plástica surge de la necesidad del mercado del mueble de contar con un producto que pueda ser utilizado en la fabricación de estos productos para uso tanto de interior como de exterior y que garantice una mayor durabilidad e inmunidad a hongos y plagas, convirtiéndose así en una buena alternativa para reemplazar la melamina y la madera.
