La Universidad de Lima pone a disposición de la comunidad académica su Repositorio Institucional, creado con el fin de preservar y difundir la producción científica, académica, intelectual y cultural generada por los miembros de la comunidad Ulima, así como los documentos científicos y técnicos de convenios interinstitucionales. Esta iniciativa es parte de un conjunto de actividades enfocadas en contribuir con el desarrollo del país mediante herramientas digitales que faciliten la difusión y el acceso a la información. En tal sentido, la mayor parte del contenido se encuentra en acceso abierto con licencias pertinentes de protección de derechos de autor.
